Child Aid Umkhanyakude

The Project was established in July 2017. The Project is targeting to reduce local cases of Malaria to zero. Child Aid Umkhanyakude aims at eradicating the breeding sites for the female anopheles’ mosquito which transmits the malaria parasite plasmodium falciparum in bordering countries of Mozambique and Swaziland. High unemployment promotes movement of high volumes of people, usually entering and leaving the country through illegal boarder points. The project is currently being implemented in three (3) districts namely: uMkhanyakude, Zulu land and King Cetshwayo.
