HOPE Uphongola

Due to high ranks of unemployment, poverty and HIV prevalence in the Zululand district, Humana People to People saw a need to pioneer the HOPE uPhongolo project in 2013. The  project reach the community of uPhongola with different educational activities including; information and services that reinforced the decline of HIV new infections in the area. One of the project’s main ambition is to reduce the high rate of new HIV infections of HIV, TB and other related diseases through distributing information on Non-communicable diseases (NCD) and communicable diseases (CD) in the community through; door to door home visits, health awareness campaigns and health talks.
